Heading Back

We’d just finished saying what a great, trouble-free journey we’d had when we arrived at the ferry to find their IT systems were down! The good news was that it was a beautiful evening so hanging around for a couple of hours wasn’t too tough.
Eventually everything was sorted out, the car queues rolled forward, an old overheated Volvo was pushed on board and we were off. Our dinner booking was for fifteen minutes before the ferry left but happily that let us eat right away and then a couple of hours later we were treated to a brief but spectacular sunset. All’s well ….
