EAR TODAY...

...and now it's gone! Actually it was the partner to this earring that I lost sometime last week, and I'm very sad as they were given to me by my lovely niece as a thank-you when I took her and her friend out for a cinema-and-burger evening when they were about 13. They're now both in their late 30s, and I've loved those earrings ever since. I don't have any sensation in my right earlobe since surgery to remove a little growth on a parotid gland about 13 years ago, which means that I'm not necessarily aware if I flick away an earring while taking off coats, scarves or camera straps, and I've lost a few this way. :-(
