Long Drive Home

I chose to drive home from Bournemouth to Lancashire on Bank Holiday Friday.

Insanity. It took me 7:45. Awful, made slightly better by some great podcasts on Spotify - Slow news, The rest is politics and We have ways of making you talk.

Off the beaten track and away from the motorways, there are some lovely quintessially English spots to be found - a lot of them, too!

As a side note, the parched state of the land was very obvious. Rain is desperately needed.
