Return to the Tree

A little hawthorn tree at Emsworthy Rocks (one of my favourites) blipped many times. It's been a lovely day but a strong breeze has kept it cool. It's a short walk then a bit of a climb and there's rarely anyone else up there. Great views to Haytor, across Holwell Lawn to Houndtor (which you can see in the distance) and who knows  where else.

It's the Wide on Wednesday challenge and I should have checked the theme before I went out. Let me just say that Dartmoor has a wealth of pubs and restaurants, many of which I can personally attest to the quality of their food and drink. None of these, however, seem to appear in this photograph. Thanks for hosting, Bob but I'm off theme this week.
