Friendless Church

The redundant rural church of St Mary Magdalene, Boveney near Windsor. Right on the riverbank, the chapel was probably frequented by bargees when the Thames was used for transporting timber from Windsor forest. Only a couple of services are held there each year, but it is kept alive by the Friends of Friendless Churches group.
