Those umbrellas… again

No apologies for blipping these Cheltenham umbrellas again. I am still unsure why they were installed but there is no doubt that they look striking against another warm blue sky day. Some say they were part of Pride month. Some say they are part of the summer/autumn festival season. I think they could also point out how desperate we are for rain and an opportunity to use our umbrellas again?

Great to welcome friends to our house and garden this morning. “Messages” to be collected in town this afternoon.

A beautiful sunset walk through our village this evening accompanied by the sound of bells ringing. It was an almost ageless sound echoing off the medieval houses in the heart of our community as bats flitted through the gloaming beneath a whispy new moon.
