A cheap football night out for me and Aaron tonight.
It was supposed to be a senior Shrews side but, with league games more important, they decided to play their own academy side.
It was a bit of an odd game and contrast of styles. Shrews soaked up a lot of pressure and tried to hit Wolves on the break without really looking convincing, whilst Wolves zipped the ball around and were very eager to make something happen. Just a bit too eager as the last ball was over hit or the shot snatched at.

The first half was pretty deficient in actual quality, although it did improve in the second with Shrews scoring late on before Wolves scored two even later on to deprive us of a penalty shootout.

Still, Aaron was pleased with the result and the kids did well.
