Tranquil Waters….

The Taylor River was looking quite tranquil just downstream from the Burleigh Bridge early this morning. Such a dramatic change from wild flood water. Tons of shingle were washed downstream from the upper reaches during the floods last month. It has changed the profile of the river bed in many places. The first day of spring and it has been a sunny, very balmy day… And a busy one for me. Bathing Maisie at Animates, visiting Keith, a trip to Council, library, shopping…. the list goes on. Bedtime beckons.
