I Am Not a Number!

Fans of the 1967 cult TV series ‘The Prisoner’ will guess that we’re in Portmeirion https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portmeirion for the bank holiday weekend!

This rather surreal Italianate village was constructed on the North Wales coast by Clough Williams Ellis between 1925 and 1975 and was famously the location for the series https://youtube.com/watch?v=EhveNJZnfx4

We’re staying in Bridge House in the village and have a magnificent view across Tremadoc Bay (see Extras). The weather is great and I’ve got Fairport Convention’s tune ‘Portmeirion’ (written by the band’s violinist Ric Sanders) on a loop in my head… https://youtube.com/watch?v=PZa6bpQ8Urs
