Another chance to improve missed

It arrived late, panting, but today was the first day of Summer.  Eighteen centigrade.  After the least sunniest summer in Orkney since 1903.  I took the chance to gather together tools and materials for the next project in Hoy which will hopefully commence next week.  My EH advisors indicate a mini-typhoon will blow into Kirkwall Airport early on Saturday.  For some reason that I, or an international symposium of Dendrochronologists can’t understand, I took another limp view looking west.
