Flowers Fartnarkled

I think these were impatiens of some sort. I was downtown having lunch with #1 Son and took a photo to have something to play with for Abstract Thursday. Heavily fartnarkled as you can plainly see.

Edit: Seek says "Madagascar Periwinkle." ?? Could be! Whatever they are, they're sold as an annual and grace a lot of people's containers of flowers.
