The Tea House and garden
This is the strawberry bed garden even though there are no longer any strawberries. I'm starting over next spring. The greenery is a huge amount of bean plants that are doing really well. They were planted late and we're not expecting to get beans from them. The rabbits love bean plants and we will dry them to feed to them over the winter. There are some zinnias on the left and the tea house beyond the garden. It's always bittersweet when I don't get out there as often. I'm going to try in the next few days to enjoy it, though. In the far distance at the base of the trees you can see a bit of a silver strip. That is the long pond that I take photos of sometimes.
Today was harvesting the rest of the corn and cooking and cutting it off for the freezer, cooking beets to get ready for another batch of pickled beets, picking some carrots an lots of other odds and ends.
Happy September!
