Sunny Still Life ...

... late this afternoon, on the sideboard near our dining table. A routine day:  I got a haircut; Marylee did laundry and went to Stop & Shop.

Tennis at the US Open in New York.  In the afternoon Serena and Venus Williams lost in the third round of doubles (they hadn't played in the doubles for four years).  Tne main match this evening is  Fabio Fognini of Italy versus Raphael Nadal of Spain; they've split the first two sets (it's 3 of 5).  I can't stay up nearly long enough to see the likely end of that  So to bed.
