In competition with Piwakawaka

Feeling a bit more free in movement of my leg as the haematoma gradually resolves. Still not happy about trying for any longer walk than just around the rather small area around the house. 

Noticed the web in the corner of the carport next to the house. Changed lenses on the Pentax, and after a couple of duds, got a photo I like. 

The Piwakawaka (fantails) visit fairly often, and catch insects, expending much energy in the process. The spider sits and waits. Above the web is a motion-sensitive outside light which turns on for cats, and any other nocturnal prowlers.
