Clivia miniata - cream

We were so lucky to have a friend who was moving house (and states as it happens) and let us dig up three of her clivia miniata in as many shades. So far we have the cream and the orange in bloom and are waiting for the dark red. This is an exotic variety, much neater and ordered than the common one. The same friend gave us the Queen of the Night orchid cactus which becomes an annual blip when flowering.

On Monday I will fly to Western Australia to join said friend on a native flora odyssey. Should be spectacular.
