What's the Time?

It's hard to say, but it's probably about 2012.

I went up to North Devon today to see my sister-in-law. I've taken away my late brother's camera gear to sort out and sell for her. On my way home I decided to make a detour to Roadford lake for a bit of a walk.

It was created in 1989 and put an end to water shortages in the south west. There hasn't been a hosepipe ban in the west country since then, at least not until this year.

This structure is the Diamond Jubilee Sun Dial made of stainless steel. It was presented to the Queen by the County of Devon. It has a curious effect on it's environment.
