Vaccinations and Elections

We drove into town this morning to get our 5th Covid vaccination; we were quick off the mark because the campaign started yesterday. However, we are going to be meeting a lot of people in the run up to the election, and then on the day itself, so it seems to make sense to maximise our protection.
After our shot we ate a good lunch, which was actually breakfast for us, and then moved on to the square to carry on persuading voters to support our party.  On the 27th August I blipped a picture of our trailer and the discussions going on. Today's blip shows what is behind the trailer. The building on the right is the back of the municipal art gallery, originally built as a police station and cells! The water is the sea, linking the north and south sound.
It's a pity this prime water-side location is actually a carpark but that is a result of planning decisions made in the 1960's, when the car was king. We are working to change that but parking spaces are holy for some people and some political parties on the right, so it's a long term project.
Our cool weather continues - lots of places had frost last night, even if the sun is warm when it shines.
Soon off to bed because that vaccination is making my arm ache slightly and I feel a bit unnaturally tired.
Have a good weekend...
