Stairs

Our RV park is in Wisconsin but when we turn right on the highway, we are in Minnesota  outside of New Duluth. We drove up Lake Superior shoreline for a bit to see the Split Rock Lighthouse. (See extra)

This lighthouse was built after the 1905 storm that sank or damaged 29 ships.  It was decommissioned when GPS and radar became reliable.

I wanted to get a photo of the lighthouse from a different perspective so we took the steps next to the old tram to get that shot. The second extra shows part of the steps we took. 

I looked up the difference between steps and stairs. Stairs are a set of steps built between two floors inside a building. Steps are outside of a building.

The leaves are starting to change. I am grateful we are in an area that has a lot of deciduous trees.
