I took a drive to Rainbow Haven Beach this afternoon to see what birds might be hanging around and found this blue heron. I could see a second one but he was too far out to get a photo. There was an assortment of greater yellowlegs and willets there too.
A new pizza place opened a few months ago, I noticed they had a sign advertising their pizza bowls. Out of curiosity I checked their website to see what they were. They had an Italian one, meatballs, pepperoni, green pepper, tomato and onion in their pizza sauce and topped with cheese, then baked in their oven. It sounded good, so I ordered one for my supper. I ate half of it and will have the other half for supper tomorrow night.
