Elephants at the waterhole

We had a lazy afternoon relaxing in the shade under a tree at the waterhole near Mankwe Bush Lodge. Our patience was rewarded when eight or nine elephants arrived for a late afternoon drink. We sat and watched them drink, splash in the water and roll around in the mud and it was absolutely fascinating to see the interaction among them.
