Sacred Heart church Battersea

It was founded in the 1890's to meet the needs of the many Irish immigrants who came to build the railways in the South East and settled in Battersea. Behind it is the Salesian college founded a decade earlier by St John Bosco (lots of Sinjuns in Battersea!). And beside the church is a French junior school L'ecole des Petits de Battersea

Nice sunny day today and a cloud build up this evening to bring some drama...
