Downtown Darwin

We got up before bedtime to fly to Darwin to use the last of our Covid travel credits.
It all went very smoothly. The taxi arrived early and the drive to the airport was only a record 17 minutes. 5am on Sunday helps.
Our flight left on time, we arrived 10 minutes early and the bags were almost first off the carousel.
The shuttle to the hire car was prompt and the car only has 3,500 km on the clock compared to 300,000 on our recent one in Port Douglas.
Plus there are at least four massage establishments across the road from our hotel. After a quick reconnoiter I’m not sure they are quite what we are looking for however I did get some shots of the neighbourhood which you can see in the main blip and extras. Maybe not the most salubrious, but interesting.
