Dancing 'round your camera bags

I'm at the National Union of Journalists 'Photography Matters' Conference at The University of London today.

The speakers are excellent including the war photographer Penny Tweedy talking about her work, Paul Herrmann, director of Redeye discussing the semantic web and an Irish news photographer (who's name I didn't catch), talking about the emotional toll of being a news photographer.

During lunch everyone started tucking into the wine and I noticed something I hadn't seen before. A group of photographers standing in a circle with their camera bags in the middle like school girls at a disco.
