Sloe, Sloe, Hip Hip Sloe

Not to mention blackberries, apples, elderberries, haws, a profusion of different seed heads and ivy flowers - the choice at this time of year for Red Admirals. Today we went to RSPB Cliffs Pools where the hedgerows and verges were just spectacular! We saw some good birds as well including Curlew Sandpipers and my favourite for the day, Whinchat.
