Well laid plans!

Well we had planned to potter around Bridport. But we awoke to an email from Spanish friends telling us our little house in Alcaudete had been broken into and it was suspected that people were now living there!

Great! Fortunately we have amazing English friends in Alcaudete who took care of the whole thing for us with the police. The police had already secured the front door and were aware of a family....man, woman and 2 children who were breaking into empty houses trying to find somewhere to live. Our friends went to the house to see if any damage had been done. Apart from the broken door, nothing had been touched. Anyway all of this involved us in emails and phone calls with our friends through the day.

We had iron bars put up at all windows and our back door a few years back. I cant remember why we didnt do the front door! Now that will be rectified!

Anyway a potter around Bridport was more a worried wander!
