We had a spectacular thunder, rain and lightning storm for about 20 minutes as we went to bed last night. We left the curtains open so we could watch from bed.

Clear skies again this morning and we enjoyed a good walk. The ground still bone dry.

Rain (1.3mm) expected over the course of this afternoon and evening. Not much at all!

I shall prep the plums and apples for the chutney I'm making.
