Meet The Swans

We went to Doncaster to look after eldest granddaughter..and we finished up going to Cusworth Hall for a walk and some lunch!

At one point we stopped to watch the fish in the lake and as we stood there this family of swans came tearing across the water and emerged onto the bank right in front of us. These two were particularly brave and got very close, presumably on the look out for any food scraps (which we did not have). At least they have spared you another fungus blip - although I did find a rather grand one and snapped it as a ‘banker’ blip shot :-)

Feeling rather tired today - we had a particularly heavy rain storm during the night which woke me up and then as I was dropping back to sleep there as a huge flash of lightning and some thunder…I didn’t really sleep after that, waiting for the next thunder!
