A Giraffe

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Yorkshire Wildlife Park today..with our daughter and granddaughters. Wall to wall sunshine, it was very, very warm (28 degrees as we left the park around 4:30 p.m.) with a nice gentle breeze.

We started with a coffee and bacon bap, then set off. Walked 5.5 miles and clocked up 13K steps.

I have taken hundreds of photos and not even had a chance to load them all into Lightroom…I picked one shot to upload and process for blip and it was this giraffe!

Hopefully I’ll get a chance over the next few days to process some more.

We finished with a stop at the ice cream cafe…it was very welcome.

The park is lovely..spotlessly clean and the animals all look in great condition and have huge enclosures to roam about.
