It’s all go
One of those days that cannot be described as busy, but full of things done at a slow pace.
Over to R’s this morning to collect the kitties to take them to the cattery. It all went well and they were quickly exploring their new accommodation. Back to R’s to collect some spuds and compost that S sorted out for us. We have finished the spuds that we grew, as we had a poor return.
I’ve chosen to the blip my recent sewing creations. One of my drawstring bags in pink and green, a jubilee bag and a log cabin bird bag. They are for Annie’s birthday which is next month. The small zipped purse was bought in an Istanbul bazaar a few years ago, so I will include it with instructions to consult with Max and find out all about the country.
A telephone call from one of my Nurses League colleagues this afternoon has resulted in me volunteering to do a short article about disco’s at Wood Norton in the 1960’s.
We had a massive thunderstorm during the night. It woke me up in time to hear the noise of the rain and see the sky lit up. The garden was much the better for all water it received.
