Skies Clear, Cloud Lifting!

A very dramatic start to Monday with huge strikes of lightning and giant claps of thunder at around 2:30am...which were then followed by torrential rain. It was quite the show to watch from my bed!!

As day broke and the light began to appear, the valley was filled with low cloud. It was spectacular watching it rise and clear as the temperatures increased. By the time I'd driven down from Queensbury into Halifax, I was below the cloud! I took this photo as I walked out of my house. What a treat!

Training day complete and all ready for the arrival of the wee ones tomorrow. :-)
