A day a duck could love

And they seemed to. It's been raining for most of the day and it's been quite a while since that has happened. The ducks just sort of lounge around in the rain. The chickens don't even seem to mind a light rain. They are still out and about. They do head under cover when it gets hard though. We will get more than an inch today since it's still going and I took this photo about an hour ago.
It was a good day to get up in the loft area and straighten up and vacuum  all the cobwebs... yuck!! I also roasted tomatoes for the freezer. We are eating our last two ears of corn tonight... Sigh. But we still have a few melons to go.
