Squash

A friend of mine posted some really nice squash photos on FB today and it gave me the idea of getting out in our squash patch. Some have done well. It's a work in progress with the soil amending that we're doing. These are from saved seed from a Musquee de Provence squash from last year Dan bought from the local nursery. They get quite big, at least 15 pounds. They have mildly sweet flesh. So far we have 4 tucked in the vines. It has a way to go to ripen so we are keeping our fingers crossed.
