Flat Rock Augusta

Augusta is a very special place for me AND my family.  Mum and Dad first started coming down here in the 1970’s and eventually bought a very small holiday cottage.  From that point on it has been a destination for all of us and Steve and Carol now have a wonderful little cottage at the mouth of the Blackwood River where we will spend the next couple of weeks.  Today I took Mauzee on somewhat of a sentimental journey.  We went along a bush track to Flat Rock.  This was my Mum and Dad’s favourite walk, particularly at wildflower season.  I could have blipped a wildflower pic tonight but I really loved this image of Mauzee taking a photo of the Blackwood River.  Just look at that sky!!  We’ve had a glorious day.
