Pacific Gull

This majestic Pacific Gull looks very relaxed but I can tell you he’s been through a pretty tough time.  We met PG yesterday when we went for a walk along the river at Augusta.  He was being fed by a wild life carer who had only released the Gull a couple of days before.  He is still not as strong as he should be and they are making sure that he keeps his strength up by feeding him small amounts regularly.  They feel he has a better chance of a full recovery if he learns to fend for himself as soon as possible.  He appeared to be quite happy this morning and was obviously waiting for the carers to come along with his brekkie :)
