The big puddle in the driver’s footwell of our car reappeared on Sunday after heavy rain. I was able to get the car into the garage today to check things out.

The first time it happened the AA person suspected blocked drains. According to the garage they are fine. Whether or not them having a bit of a poke about has helped clear them too I have no idea.

Maybe the problem is solved. Maybe it is something else. Will just have to wait for it to rain heavily again to see. If it happens again I’ve got the name of a local body shop that can find leaks with smoke (sounds like a magician’s trick!). Think that’ll cost more than the £39 I spent on it today!
