Wullie’s Shed

Woke up this morning after very heavy rain and thunder last night to discover that the car was not ok after being checked out yesterday. A frantic call to the suggest repair shop was returned with ‘we’re really busy, maybe check forums online’. Not much use when it was chucking it down and water was literally pouring into the footwell.

Frantic call two to I&K Motors who were super friendly and helpful. Got it in first thing and had a call by 3pm saying all done including a couple of hours sitting under a heater to dry up the carpets. Turns out a heating drain was blocked causing water to run into the cabin. I’m not entirely sure how the heating drain interacts with rain water to cause the issue we did but hopefully it’s sorted now. I think I’ll still be nervous the next time we have heavy rain though!

This Oor Wullie is in their car park. When we visited back in 2017 I managed to see quite a few of the Wullies but not this one so that was an added bonus.
