View from room

Very hot and tiring drive after setting off later than hoped from Perpignan.
Sad to leave.

Gave in late afternoon and after working at it went into small unprepossessing looking hotel in wonderful gardens. This is view from room. Room everything I need and owner insisted on carrying my things up the few entrance steps.
Ate on terrace and really good, simple traditional French food. He swapped the steak for a lovely bit of fish in my case. View of sky and coloured clouds was amazing. There’s also a pond with swans that I thought were statues!
Excellent price for the night. I wish I knew
