Catastrophe averted!

A crazy day here.....had a couple of appointments in town - early!  hair cut, pedicure etc., groceries.....felt like a busy morning!

Then home, lunch and clean greenware, had to get the bisque kiln on today.   So, got every thing cleaned and while i was lowering a shelf into the kiln i misjudged things and hit one of the thermo-couples...very important element of the computerized kiln.....lots of swearing and grunting took place at this point.   My wonderful Terry was off in his tracker doing some work and wasn't reachable....so when he arrived home around 7.15pm....expecting us to get supper ready, we instead had to get over to the studio and take care of the issue....i am not very good with the electrical work and so i depend on Terry to do this.   We managed to get it sorted in about an hour....not too bad.   Dinner was awesome, fresh corn on the cob from the garden and bbq pork.   We watched a delightful movie...Last Chance Harvey!   Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson...it was just what i needed!

All is well at Big Hill!
