Never Smile At A Crocodile

This bird looks a bit cautious but most seem oblivious to the beasts around them.
We did the 2 hour Yellow Water Billabong cruise this evening. Crocs everywhere, often 4 or 5 visible in the same area. We even saw a couple having a brief skirmish.
If you tired of them there were birds aplenty: sea eagles, jabirus, herons, ibis, Jesus bird, ducks……. We also spotted some wild buffalo which are almost as dangerous as the crocs.
Extras are an enormous croc, a jabiru eating a snake and the sunset.
I had to reduce the image size to get them to load so hope the quality is OK.

The rest of the day was spent doing nothing much apart from a couple of swims in the two very nice pools here.
