Camping
It rained ALL night and it was heavy rain as well. So much water, I was not happy. It finally stopped around 11am after Bruce had the genius idea of moving camp to the covered cabin areas. A great idea and would keep us all dry if it did rain again.
Jenny joined us around 1pm and we all had lunch together.
This campsite has lots of activities for kids. Lots to do and they even had a train that went around the camp with the driver entertaining the kids non stop, dressed up as Deadpool.
Then at 5, they’d organised a disco, which everyone enjoyed, I think, well I certainly did. Great fun indeed. They even did the conga!!! The kids loved it.
No more rain, thankfully and we’ve been able to enjoy the campsite and beautiful outdoors.
The family enjoyed time by the fire till late into the evening. Fun times.
Loved the sugar cane around the campsite, something quintessentially Queensland! Also, the extra of us 4 with the “50” glasses, was for a video message we made to send to Evelyn in HK, as it’s her 50th birthday tomorrow.
