Shrews

Three in number! They were sitting at the bottom of the stairs from the garage to the garden. From there they have no way to get back up, so I saved them with the help of a bug catcher :-)

Shrews are very interesting little animals. They are not mice but insectivores and more akin to moles. They have a heart rate of 800-1200 beats per minute.
