Badaguish

We have a few days booked off so treated ourselves to a couple of nights at Badguish in Glen More.  A couple of nights in a camping pod works out only a little more than one night in a hotel so seems like an obvious choice!  It's super quiet as well with no school groups and it being the off season.  Our little row of five camping pods only has us in it.

I love this part of the world, on the edge of the Cairngorms with the huge scots pine forests.  The evening has been lovely and we wandered from Badaguish to Loch Morlich in beautiful sunshine, marvelling at the huge spiders between the trees and breathing in the honey heather and pine smell.  Food was some curries we picked up en-route in the deli at Dunkeld (my old haunt when I was a multi-activity instructor there almost 20 years ago) which were delicious. 

Not sure what's in store for us tomorrow as the weather isn't meant to be great, but just happy to be here!
