Scenic Photo Posts

A mixed weather day today!  It was actually quite plesant in the morning so we got out for a walk and dig a big loop around Loch Morlich and into the woods above it before heading back to Glenmore at lunch.  We sat and had some soup in the Pine Marten bar and the rain really came wellying down.  

After a very wet walk back to the camping pod we sat around and read then headed down to Aviemore to do a bit of shopping, as there's not much else to do when the rain is that heavy.  I bagged some new walking pants and some Cairn O Mohr for my boss' birthday present. 

The weather cleared up late afternoon so we wlaked back to the Pine Marten Bar for tea.  En-route I discovered one of the Cairngorm Scenic Photo Posts and had to do a blip with the evening sun and clouds on the hills.  Good food at teh bar, then we got super wet again walking back up.  All a great day though.
