16 years of US!

I was awake since 5am wi the the monsoon rains battering the roof. And in and on and on it went till yes, it was coming up our drain. S was Baling out the water and he was soaked. We had plans to go to north Berwick on the train as it was 15 quid anywhere in Scotland for a while but all trains were cancelled in Perth due to flooding! We walked down to the Cherrybank pub and the little burn had flooded it again, second time in two years. They’ve built a massive housing estate on the farmland hills and of course cheapskate developers haven’t put adequate irrigation in with the result it all flows into the little burn making it a full flowing torrent like niagra Falls! The bottom flats were flooded too and Buckie braes is washed away too! Sad

We walked into town to Pacos and had some food there. We will go somewhere next week for our meal and day out.

Anyway, today marks the passing of the Queen. Shaking hands with thick Liz and BOJo the liar finished her off.

S’s friend Ken in Rome has an American client and after news of Queens’s death got round the world the client sent Ken a personal message of condolence and a picture of the Queen. I was amazed. Do folks in other countries think we are all going through packets of Kleenex and wailing?? Jeepers! She was 96!

The media seem to want us to get sucked into the Mass Hysteria of a Nation in Mourning. We aren’t all mourning. It’s too much. Netflix and Spotify for however long it takes before we aren’t bombarded with repetitive words and news clips. Now is the time to end the Monarchy.
