To our lovely Queen Elizabeth….. R.I.P

A day I will remember for ever. It was 5.45am and I was getting ready to go out with Maisie for a walk. Then I heard, on the radio, the news that Queen Elizabeth had died. I confess I had a little weep. For her, the Queen, her family and the Commonwealth. So it’s a sad time with both National Radio and TV providing rolling cover all day.. My image for today’s Blip is a sort of composite. An image of the Queen who was 96 years old, images of big guns firing 96 times, the soldiers around the guns, all superimposed over TV News screen . I wish I had been there in person.
