A Simple Sunrise…….

The sun came up over Athletic Park. The fence on top of the stopbank separates the park from the Taylor River tracks where I was standing.
After a walk into town to their favorite cafe for coffee (“Ritual”), Hannah and Alex were very busy. They packed the trailer with branches and other garden waste they had gathered up yesterday and managed to get the whole lot to the green waste depot in only two trips. Amazing. I have a lot of extra firewood from their chain sawing work yesterday. I wish they could stay longer.
