The News

Not surprisingly there is only one thing on the front of the papers today. It's interesting though to think that newspapers aren't the source of news they once were. The papers offer 'souvenir special editions' of something most of us knew about last night, finding out on our phones when the news broke. I had just got on the bus to come home after J's latest DoE session and checked to see the headlines at almost exactly the moment the news was released. It's a very different world from the one when she became Queen. It already seems that the national mourning period is going to be a bit much.
