Very heavy rain during the night and still some light rain falling first thing this morning.
Not cold today but I put on my waterproof trousers and jacket as I set off, with my thoughts, memories and prayers, to walk round the park.
Driving into the park I spotted horses from Dumbreck Stables in their field. I wish I’d had an apple in my pocket for this lovely lady who came over to the fence ….. she had to be content with a muzzle rub.

The weather had greatly improved by the time I was making my way back to the car and I was far too hot so glad to get rid of the extra layers.
