Getting ready ……

…… for a spot of window dressing in the River Island store in the Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow.

After yesterday’s fabulous weather this morning we woke to heavy rain. It was still fairly mild but a waterproof jacket was a must.

I dislike going into town but my journey this morning was essential. My latest quilting project is nearly finished and I needed to buy 4 metres of backing fabric to complete the quilt.

Couldn’t resist a wander round Waterstones and I had enough points on my card to buy two books which of course I did!
