Danger - Shooting in Progress

What if, when you’re taking photos in the park, your camera catches something suspicious? If you remember the ’60s film "Blow Up", you know what I mean.

Shooting in progress? No need to bother Poirot. This is the archery range in Cornwall Park, below One Tree Hill, and the man in the photo was cleaning up for the day.

I walked to the top of One Tree Hill (Maungakiekie), which is the second-highest volcanic peak in Auckland. At one time there was a lone pine tree atop the hill, but it was cut down in protest at the turn of this century.
